Michael Clay Corporation was founded in 1980, by Mike & Michelle Sheppard. Mike started working in construction as a teenager in 1960, alongside his father, uncles and grandfather. After serving three tours in Vietnam for the US Navy, Mike returned to Winnemucca to work for his father at T.G. Sheppard Construction, doing all types of vertical and horizontal construction before going out on his own.
The company is still run by Mike, and his son Clay, who by fostering a reputation for faithfulness in relationships, and the highest level of professionalism in all business dealings, have gained the respect of owners; subcontractors; design professionals; suppliers; authorities having jurisdiction and competitors.
We are licensed by the Nevada State Contractors Board and hold Unlimited A, B and C Licenses.
